La cantante y modelo parisina Yseult cerró el espectáculo interpretando el clásico de Frank Sinatra “My Method”, que se deriva de la canción francesa “Comme d’habitude”, compuesta por Jacques Revaux y Claude François.

En la primera mitad de la ceremonia la actuación de la banda francesa Phoenix fue tan electrizante que algunos atletas no pudieron mantenerse fuera del escenario. Los voluntarios y guardias trataron de acorralar a los atletas olímpicos para que abrieran paso, pero se resistían a irse. La banda ganadora del Grammy interpretó “Lisztomania” y su clásica “If I Ever Really feel Higher”, también se les unió el dúo Air para “Playground Love”.
